I see that we can now purchase a $10 Ultimate Game Card for 10,000 mP and that the card supposedly can be deposited into an account in Entropia Universe. Has anyone tried it?

Props to MetaRL for adding this!

I just hope they are still going to re-enable regular payouts to Entropia soon, because 10,000 is a lot of mP to accumulate before payout and it will be a looonng time before I (and I'm sure most of us) will get that far.

yeah I agree, 10,000 is a lot. plus I still have a payout stuck on pending for Entropia.

Now that we have the UGC we wont be investing time into another payment method for a while until we have extra time.

Getting 10,000mp isn't hard at all. All you need to do is spend time and effort on the site and be sure to follow the directions carefully.
metaRL was created so that you can spend time instead of money to get things.

Is the physical Ultimate Game Card sent out, or does metaRL provide us with a code?

Edit: I found out the answer to the above question is that you can choose either to have it physically mailed to you or have the code emailed to you. However, I don't know whether they offer snail mail outside the US. Of course for me, whatever is quickest is best.

According to the notification I received from metaRL, I should be getting my first $10 Ultimate Game Card emailed to me possibly as soon as today (it didn't take me as long as I thought to get those mP's). In anticipation, I went through the deposit process on www.entropiauniverse.com up to the point where it lets you select the Ultimate Game Card for your payment method on the PayByCash option. Under the "Your Order Information" section it lists the PayByCash price as $12.99 US Dollars (I am from the US), and it states, "Price includes our PayByCash service fee. Other fees may apply." Then where it has you enter your Ultimate Game Card pin number it says, "One or more Ultimate Game Cards totalling at least $12.99 US Dollars in value will be required to complete this payment." Since the UGC value is only $10, I am concerned that this payment method may not work. Even if it does, $2.99 is a steep fee to pay to deposit $10. Has anyone actually tried this?

It'll be a few days. It turns out they don't use paypal.
So we had to make an account with their payment system, so we are in the middle of being validated.

Hopefully we'll hear from them. We should hopefully have the cards out by friday.

There is one thing that disturbs me a little about the UGCs,
in the payment options you may only select a deposit in steps of 10$ and there are only 10$ UGCs, so there will always remain a fee you have to pay.
So if you use a card to pay the fee, is the remaining money on that card lost or the value of that code just reduced?

And why they dont fit the deposit values to the values of the UGCs to be able to redeem single UGCs? Not the best service they offer :/

I received two $10 game cards by email yesterday and deposited them to Entropia Universe. So I have 100 PED, paid $2.99 fee for the privilege of depositing with PayByCash, and have $7.01 left over as a credit with PayByCash. So I can use that money for the next time I need to pay fees to deposit a game card (I don't know if there's any way to deposit that $7.01 by itself but I don't think so).

Bottom line is that it works, but not as nicely as the other SL, IMVU, etc. since you have to pay a hefty fee, and are required to deposit in larger amounts.

yeah, if Entropia ever gets a better trading system, we'll go back to making it a game we pay out to. but for now, the fastest way is through Ultimate Game Cards.

i will have 10000 MP soon, so does that mean i can use them to buy UGC worth 10$ and when i deposit it in entropia i get 70 peds or do i need to get two of those so i have enough for a fee?
